How To Post To Thirty Days Project

To share your work on Thirty Days, first you must post it on-line.

There are many free image-hosting services out there, like Flickr, Imgur, and Tinypic.

Video can be hosted for free at Vimeo, Youtube, etc.

Or you can start a blog with any free service like Blogger, Livejournal, and WordPress.

When you have uploaded your image, you need to copy a direct link to the image. For an image hosted on Blogger, it may look something like this:

http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/524/3080/1600/LittleOldLady01s.0.jpg

Paste that link into a new post on the Thirty Days site by following the instructions below.

Step 1

  1. Log in to Thirty Days Project with your Username and Password.
  2. Type the Day number in the Title bar in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Click on Add An Image (for most participants).

Step 2

  1. Click on “From URL”
  2. Paste the direct link to your image into the “Image URL” field.
  3. Add a “Title” for your work (you don’t need to put the Day in this title).
  4. “Alternate Text” is not necessary for these posts.
  5. “Image Caption” is for a brief description of your day’s work. It is optional.
  6. Please leave “Alignment” set to “None” so that all blog posts have the same layout.
  7. Click “Insert Into Post” to finish.

Step 3

  1. Do not edit the code in the Content box.
  2. Tags are not necessary.
  3. Click once on “Publish”. Please be patient and allow a few minutes for your post to appear on Thirty Days Project. Clicking more than once may publish your post more than once.

Step 4

Done!

Step 5

Take a look around your Dashboard. You can add information to your Profile (and change your password to something easier to remember) or edit any of the posts you have made.
